Roshell Nathasha Askey of Ave Maria Convent, Negombo represented Sri Lanka at the Asian Youth Chess Championship 2014, held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from June 20-29. Roshell collected 5.5 points out of nine games and managed to get the 7th place in the Under-12 girls’ segments. There were 14 countries that participated in this tournament.
