The Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee have named a 15-member squad for the upcoming Women’s T20I Asia Cup 2022.
Chamari Athapaththu will head the Sri Lanka’s contingent once again, and will be their key batter alongside Hasini Perera, Harshitha Samarawickrama, Nilakshi de Silva and Kavisha Dilhari. The experienced left-arm spinner Inoka Ranaweera will spearhead Sri Lanka’s bowling attack.
The 2022 Women’s Asia Cup will be held at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Bangladesh. The tournament will be played from the 01st to the 16th of October.
The hosts Bangladesh, along with India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia and the UAE, are the participating nations of the tournament.
