The Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee has selected the Sri Lanka ‘A’ squad to play the 02 four-day games and the 03 one-day matches against the England Lions Team.
The 22-year old Nipun Dhananjaya has been named as the captain of Sri Lanka ‘A’ four day team while the off-spinning all-rounder Kamindu Mendis will lead the Sri Lanka ‘A’ one day squad.

The two unofficial Test matches between Sri Lanka ‘A’ and England Lions will be played from 31st January to 10th February in Galle International Cricket Stadium while the three unofficial ODIs will be played on 15th, 18th and 21st February in R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
