India registered a comfortable win over SLC XI in the three-day warmup game played at the NCC Grounds in Colombo.
Having won the toss, SLC XI skipper Sonal Dinusha opted to bat first, with the hosts posting 363 runs for 8 wickets before declaring their innings.

The opening pair of Ravindu Rasantha and Nishan Madushka provided SLC XI with a strong start, putting together a century partnership for the first wicket. Rasantha top-scored with 71 runs, while Madushka contributed 66 runs. Skipper Dinusha also made a valuable contribution with 52 runs.
In reply, India scored 357 runs for 6 wickets before declaring their first innings. Devdutt Padikkal starred with the bat for India, producing a brilliant century at No. 3. He made 142 runs, while Ravindra Jadeja added a useful 63 runs at No. 4.
For SLC XI, fast bowler Asanka Manoj and off-spinner Ramesh Mendis impressed with the ball, claiming two wickets each.
SLC XI began their second innings with a six-run lead and once again declared, posting 200 runs for 6 wickets.
Nishan Madushka continued his impressive form with the bat, following up his first-innings half-century with another fifty. He scored 63 runs, while Nipun Dhananjaya contributed 46 runs in the middle order.
India were set a target of 207 runs and chased it down in the final over of the day, securing a comfortable six-wicket victory. Yashasvi Jaiswal led the chase with a quick-fire 61 off 46 balls, smashing nine fours and two sixes.
Off-spinner Keshara Nuwantha was the pick of the SLC XI bowlers in India’s second innings, finishing with figures of 2 for 57.
