Ace Capital Cricket Club, Panadura Sports Club, Nondescripts Cricket Club, Burgher Recreation Club, Nugegoda Sports & Welfare Club and Chilaw Marians Cricket Club registered wins in the six games of SLC Major Clubs T20 Tournament 2025 played today (5th June) at several venues in Colombo.
NCC registered a comfortable win over Moors SC to notch up their second victory in the tournament. Sampath Nishshanka produced a brilliant bowling effort (5/19) to restrict Moors SC to just 114 runs.

NCC cruised to the target in the 15th over with 4 wickets in hand. Chamika Karunaratne (49*) and Niroshan Dickwella (40) played pivotal roles in the run-chase with fine knocks.
Yashodha Lanka (Chilaw Marians CC), Vishen Halambage (Panadura SC), Tillakaratne Sampath (Nugegoda S & WC), Kevin Perera (Nugegoda S & WC) and Chathuranga Jayathilake (Police SC) stood out with the bat in today’s encounters, notching up fine half-centuries for their respective clubs.

In the bowling department, Wanuja Sahan and Kaveesha Piyumal starred with the ball, scalping 4 wickets each for Ace Capital CC and Bloomfield C & AC respectively.
