Panadura Sports Club and Colombo Cricket Club have managed to qualify for the Final of the SLC Major Clubs T20 Tournament 2025.
In the first semi final encounter, Panadura SC registered a 48-run win (DLS) over NCC. Batting first, Panadura SC posted 165 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs with the opening batter Vishen Halambage notching up yet another blistering fifty.

Halambage continued his brilliant form in the tournament, scoring 55 runs off 26 balls with 5 fours and 4 sixes – his third half-century of the season.
Batting at No. 5, Nimesh Vimukthi also contributed with a useful knock of 43. The speedster Dushmantha Chameera was the pick of the bowlers for NCC as he grabbed 2 wickets for 17 runs in his 4-over spell.
In reply, NCC made only 74 runs for 7 wickets in 13 overs before the rain stopped play. By virtue of being ahead of par score – by 48 runs – Panadura SC were declared winners of this contest.
The spin trio – Vishwa Lahiru (3/14), Dushan Hemantha (2/21) and Senitha Halambage (2/23) shared all the seven wickets fell in NCC innings.
CCC recorded an 8-wicket win over Moors SC in the second semi final encounter. Due to the rain, game was reduced to an 8-over contest in which CCC won the toss and opted to bowl first.
Moors SC posted 86 runs for 5 wickets in the allotted 8 overs with the skipper Ramesh Mendis top scoring with a knock of 28 runs off 11 balls with 3 sixes.
CCC cruised to the target with ease courtesy of blistering knocks from Nishan Madushka – 47 off 20 and Chathuranga de Silva – 30 off 12.
