Moors Sports Club and Panadura SC have managed to qualify for the Semi Finals of the SLC Major Clubs T20 Tournament 2025.
Moors SC registered a 41-run win over Bloomfield C & AC in the third quarter final of the tournament played today at P. Sara Oval Grounds, Colombo.

After been put into bat first, Moors SC posted 156 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, Bloomfield C & AC managed to put on only 115 runs despite a fighting half-century from Ron Chandraguptha who made 74 runs off 55 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes.
The left-arm spinner Praveen Jayawickrama was the pick of the bowlers for Moors SC as he grabbed 3 wickets for 21 runs. Ramesh Mendis and Shiran Fernando also shone with the ball, claiming 2 wickets each.
In the fourth quarter final, Panadura SC defeated Colts CC by 34 runs at CCC Grounds, Colombo. Batting first, Panadura SC made 133 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs with Nimesh Vimukthi being the top scorer with a knock of 29 runs.
Colts CC had a terrible time with the bat in reply, as they were bowled out for just 99 runs with Vishen Halambage and Sahan Mihira ripping through their batting lineup, picking up 4 wickets each for Panadura SC.

Semi Finals of the tournament will be held tomorrow (13th June) at CCC Grounds, Colombo. In the first semi final encounter, NCC will meet Panadura SC while CCC will take on Moors SC in the second semi final encounter.
