With the schools league kicking off last week action packed encounters were witnessed among the segment B schools.
St. Sylvester’s college beat Thurstan College in a nail biting finish 22 to 19 points at the match played in Bogambara grounds in Kandy on 21st march 2014.
Prince of Wales College won convincingly against Piliyandala MMV 38 to 06. Match was played at the Air Force grounds on 22rd March.
CWW Kannangara ran riot against Lalith Athulathmudali College scoring 13 tries as the final score ticked as 77 to 05. This match was played at the CR&FC grounds on 19th march.

In segment 2B Mahanama, Ananda and Nalanda get a winning starts.
St. John’s College Nugegoda were well beaten by Ananda College Colombo 43 to 07 at the match played at the fabulous racecourse grounds on 21st March.
Mahanama College eased through St. Benedicts 56 to 07. This game was played at the CR&FC grounds on 24th March.
Nalanda College overcame on Lumbini College at the game played in the Air Force grounds on 23rd March which Nalanda won 29 – 07.
