National 3×3 Men’s team took flight to Dhaka, Bangladesh on the 13th April 2014 to participate in the First South Asian 3X3 Basketball Championship from the 14th April to the 17th April 2014.
Sri Lanka Cagers showed a roaring performance in the Championship unfortunately losing only to team Bangladesh.

The Championship was played in league format, the host country Bangladesh was crowned as the Champions following Sri Lanka and Nepal secured Silver and Bronze respectively. After India, Pakistan and Afghanistan pulled out of the championship, five countries of South Asia, Hosts Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, Bhutan and Sri Lanka battled it out for 3×3 supremacy in the South Asia.
