West Indies Emerging Team registered a comfortable victory over Sri Lanka Emerging Team in the third and final One Dayer to clinch the three-match series 2-1.

After winning the toss, the visitors elected to bat first and produced an impressive batting display, posting a formidable 349 for 4 in their allotted 50 overs.

Wicketkeeper-batter Shaqkere Parris starred with the bat, smashing a magnificent 177 off just 129 deliveries. His innings featured 13 boundaries and 11 sixes, putting Sri Lanka under immense pressure.

Chasing 350 for victory, Sri Lanka Emerging Team fought hard but were unable to keep pace with the required run rate, eventually being bowled out for 273.

Middle-order batter Ranesh Silva led the resistance with a well-compiled 69 off 64 balls, striking five fours and two sixes. Dinura Kalupahana also made a valuable contribution, scoring 54 from 61 deliveries with three fours and three sixes.

For the West Indies Emerging Team, Amari Goodridge was the standout bowler, claiming four wickets for 56 runs to derail Sri Lanka’s chase.
