As a result of the unrest in the Digana, Theldeniya areas in Kandy, the Schools’ Rugby Division ‘B’ game that was set to take place this evening has been postponed until the situation subsides.
The match between St. Sylvester’s College and Vidyartha College in the Schools Rugby League Division I ‘B’ was scheduled to take place today at the Pallekelle Grounds will not take place as planned with the Ministry of Education declaring today as a school holiday due to the unrest.
Sources from the two schools indicate that the game will take place tomorrow if the situation is brought under control.
