Current Sri Lanka cricketer Lakshan Sandakan has jumped on the bandwagon to help people in these difficult times due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Sandakan has made donations to Professional Sports Journalists’ Association of Sri Lanka who are conducting a project to fight COVID-19 pandemic by helping people supplying them with essential groceries.
It is heart-warming to see many cricketing personalities coming forward to help the public and tackle this pandemic as former players like Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayewardene, Roshan Mahanama, Chaminda Vaas, Muttiah Muralitharan and many other current players have generously donated to strengthen people and authorities.
