Richmond won their 7th outright game in this tournament beating S D S Jayasingha to hit the top in the division I schools cricket point table. 

 

Richmond college won the toss and was elected to field. The first inning saw S D S Jaysingha  being bowled out for 150.  The best batsmen in their inning were Supun Jayasingha (38) & Hashan Hawananyakkara (32). Richmond bowling was simply outstanding and ripped apart the opponent. Waruna Deshapriya 35/4, Savin Nanayakkara 29/3 A.k Tyron 20/2 did the damage.

 In their turn Richmond piled on the agony for S D S Jayasinghe topping a mammoth 300/4 rendering the opposition bowlers hapless.  They declared before the lunch. Sithara Gimhan 150 was the the pick with a 150 not out and he faced 162 balls scoring 13 fours & 2 sixers. Kelum Nawanga (60) A.k Tyron (44) helped their team to achieve their big score. 

S D S Jayasinghe started their 2nd inning but fell way short of the target. Savin Nanayakkara bowled best with 16/4

Richmond won by  an Innings and 40 runs .
