As the game of the year unfolds between Isipathana College and S.Thomas’ College, ThePapare.com sends out this call to all players, parents, officials, authorities and fans.

The two teams have exceeded themselves in dishing out some very competitive rugby, beating some very versatile opponents and bringing the Singer Schools Rugby League to this fantabulous finale.

Let the boys enjoy their game without too much pressure, it is ok for one team to lose, you have played brilliant rugby thus far.

Referees, the call is to ‘call’ it fair, remember lives are being shaped today and your decision and attention is crucial. Having said that ‘to err is human’ and no matter what decision that comes off that mighty whistle the rest of us fans MUST take it Sportsmanship at Isipathana v Royalgraciously.

Let us as a collective ‘vow’ not to allow violence and not to allow our feelings get the better of us.

At the end of the game let it not be Ispathana or S.Thomas’, but let it be the Rugby and our collective effort that is the winner.

While the boys show us their capabilities, can the Sri Lanka rugby community show themselves what they can do?

Do justice to the Rugby and the boys who have topped this moment.

Good luck to all
