S. T. Rathnayake and Duminda Dilum won the key Women’s and Men’s Open Singles titles on offer at the recently concluded Kandy Garden Club Open Ranking Tennis Tournament.
Rathnayake beat Dilenthi Dissanayake 6-2, 0-6, 10-3 in the finals of Women’s Singles which saw participation of six players in the draw.
Eleven players took part in the Men’s Singles and in the finals, second seed Dilum got the better of thrid seed Joshua Moraes 6-4, 6-3.
