National Powerlifter Ransilu Jayayathilake together with his accomplice Dhanushka Kodikara participated in the Commonwealth Power Lifting held in Vancouver, Canada.

The two gentle giants landed themselves in the island with ten medals in total. Ranislu Jayathileke won six gold medals in both equipped and roar events while Dhanushak Kodikara won three gold medals in equipped event.
This being the 27th International medal for Jayathileke is aiming nothing less but the championship title in the World Championships. En-route to the World Championships his next stop is the Asian Games to be held in Kazakhastan in April.
Unbiological twin Dhanushka Kodikara will compete himself in the open category and he too aims at the World Championships. Both of these on a break for a week to rejoice victory will commence their practices for the Asian Games in the up coming week.
