Gameweek 4 of the 2018/19 Premier League produced more scintillating football, featuring a couple of upsets while other results went as expected.

Liverpool remains at the top of the table at the end of gameweek 4 after beating Leicester City 2-1, a result which saw Leicester drop to 8th.

Chelsea were the second of 3 sides to maintain their 100% record in the new season as they dominantly defeated Bournemouth 2-0 to move up to 2nd while Bournemouth remained at 6th thanks to goal difference.

Watford had the shocking result of the week as they came from 1 down to shock Tottenham Hotspur in a 2-1 victory as Watford moved up to 3rd, also maintaining their 100% record of the new season, while Tottenham dropped down to 5th.

Defending Champions Manchester City received a tough fight from Newcastle, but in the end came out on top with a narrow 2-1 win that saw them move up to 4th while Newcastle dropped to 18th.

Everton and Huddersfield battled out a 1-1 draw that saw Bournemouth remain in 6th while Huddersfield moved out of the bottom 3 to the 17th position.

Arsenal pulled off their second win of the season after a very hard-fought match against newly promoted Cardiff in a tough 3-2 win that saw Arsenal keep their 9th spot from gameweek 3, while Cardiff dropped down to 16th.

Manchester United meanwhile moved up 3 places to 10th at the end of the gameweek after a tough match against Burnley that saw United come out on top with a 2-0 win, Burnley meanwhile dropped down 1 spot into 19th.

Wolves defeated West Ham with a last second winner in their 1-0 win that pushed Wolves to 11th, while The Hammers, still looking for their first point under the new manager remain bottom of the table.  Southampton beat Crystal Palace 2-0 to move to 12th while Palace dropped down to 15th.

Fulham and Brighton both dropped by 2 spots after a close 2-2 draw that now see Fulham in 13th and The Seagulls in 14th.
