Tamil Union flattened a miserable Kurunegala YCC by an innings and 88 runs in their Premier League fixture concluded at the P. Sara Oval yesterday.

Tamil Union reached a massive 466 for four in the first innings when Rumesh Buddika smashed an unbeaten 203 and Jeewan Mendis hit a 95 ball 100.

Left arm spinner Mendis then claimed a match bag of eight for 118 to lead Tamil Union to a crushing win.

All rounder Dilruwan Perera took Panadura to a comfortable seven wicket win over BRC in their Premier League cricket match played at BRC grounds yesterday. He was in awesome form with the bat and the ball grabbing nine wickets and scoring a masterful half century.

Perera who took three wickets for 42 runs, smashed 98 in the first innings and grabbed six for 91 to seal a comfortable win for the visitors.

Chasing 370 to win, CCC were shot out for 103 runs in the second innings when Madushanka ran through the batting order with an impressive bowling spell.
