St. Peter’s College batsman Dineth Thimodya reached 1,000 runs for the season with a half-century against Gurukula College, Kelaniya in their cricket match played at Air Force Ground in Colombo yesterday.
He has been prolific with the bat this season and his 1,005 runs include two centuries.
His best knock, 152 runs, was scored in the match against D. S. Senanayake College. He also scored a century against Ananda in a high-scoring draw.
