The Pakistan Men’s Team is set to tour Sri Lanka for a 3-match T20I series in January 2026, with all matches scheduled to take place at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium on the 7th, 9th and 11th of January.
Most recently, Pakistan hosted Sri Lanka for a 3-match ODI series, which was followed by a T20I Tri-Nation Series that also featured Zimbabwe. Pakistan clinched both series, securing a 3-0 clean sweep in the ODIs and a 6-wicket win over Sri Lanka in the Tri-Series Final.
The last time Sri Lanka hosted Pakistan for a white-ball series was back in 2015. The visitors won the 5-match ODI series 3-2 before sealing a 2-0 victory in the T20Is. That tour also included a 3-match Test series, which Pakistan won 2-1.

However, Pakistan have toured Sri Lanka more recently for a couple of Test series in 2022 and 2023, as well as a 3-match ODI series against Afghanistan in Hambantota ahead of the Asia Cup 2023. Despite being the original host nation for the Asia Cup, Pakistan played most of their matches in Sri Lanka.
This series will give both teams crucial match practice ahead of the T20 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, with Pakistan set to play all their matches in Sri Lanka.
