The Legends Tour is delighted to announce the inaugural Sri Lanka Legends, presented by Intervest, taking place in January 2026 at the iconic Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC).
This landmark event will be the first Legends Tour tournament held in Sri Lanka, bringing some of the world’s most celebrated golfing legends to Colombo for the very first time. Hosted at the country’s most historic and prestigious golf institution, the tournament underscores the Legends Tour’s ongoing global expansion and its commitment to introducing world-class golf to new audiences.

Formerly known as the European Senior Tour, the Legends Tour was rebranded in 2020 and has since pioneered a fresh and dynamic era for senior golf. Featuring many of the sport’s greatest champions aged 50 and over, the Legends Tour offers a truly global schedule, exceptional fan engagement and unique opportunities for amateur golfers to compete alongside Ryder Cup legends and Major winners such as Ian Woosnam, Jose Maria Olazábal, Colin Montgomerie, Paul Lawrie, Michael Campbell and Paul McGinley.
Established in 1879, the Royal Colombo Golf Club is the second-oldest ‘Royal’ golf club outside the United Kingdom and remains the heart of Sri Lanka’s golfing heritage. The club’s lush fairways, historic charm and central location in Colombo make it a fitting and spectacular venue for this historic tournament.
