The Philippine national men’s rugby team will enjoy home field advantage as they compete in the Asian Rugby Championship at the newly-built Philippine Sports Stadium on May 6 and 9.

With a seating capacity of 25,000, the Iglesia Ni Cristo property in Bulacan will host the matches between the Division I teams Philippines, Sri Lanka, Kazakhstan, and Singapore.

The Philippine Volcanoes are coming in as the top contenders in the tournament, aiming to take the title after qualifying in the Rugby Sevens World Cup in 2013.
