Moose Clothing today launched the Sri Lanka Team Jersey for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, combining modern performance innovation with Sri Lanka’s world-class ethical apparel heritage.

The new jersey features Sri Lanka Cricket’s iconic yellow, paired with deep blue accents, reflecting energy, unity, and confidence. The modern name and numbering style adds a contemporary international finish, while the distinctive blue piping on the shoulders pays homage to the nation’s identity.

Engineered for elite performance, the jersey is made using lightweight, breathable fabric with side mesh panels to optimize airflow, ensuring comfort, durability, and peak performance across varying playing conditions.

This latest launch represents the continued partnership between Sri Lanka Cricket and Moose, which began in 2023, with Moose serving as the Official Cricket Clothing Partner of Sri Lanka Cricket.

Since then, Moose has designed, manufactured, and delivered performance-driven apparel for Sri Lanka’s Men’s and Women’s National Teams, from the Under-19 level through to the senior national teams.

The new jersey was unveiled by Sri Lanka T20I Captain Dasun Shanaka and was officially handed over to Sri Lanka Cricket by Mr. Hasib Omar, Chief Executive Officer of Moose Clothing Company to Mr. Shammi Silva, President of Sri Lanka Cricket, in the presence of Mr. Ashley De Silva, Chief Executive Officer of Sri Lanka Cricket.

MOOSE FAN APP

Alongside the jersey launch, Moose introduced a groundbreaking fan engagement platform — the Moose Fan App designed to help fans become part of the jersey itself.

Through the app, fans can upload a selfie that is embedded into a digital mosaic created using images of thousands of fans, collectively forming a special Moose Fan Jersey.

The Moose Fan Jersey features a printed QR code which, when scanned, directs fans to the digital mosaic, allowing them to connect the jersey they wear with their place inside it.

Commenting on the launch, Hasib Omar, Chief Executive Officer of Moose Clothing Company, said: “Sri Lanka Cricket has always been about more than the game; it is about who we are as a nation. With this new World Cup jersey and the Moose Fan App, we wanted every Sri Lankan to feel part of that journey. This time, the jersey doesn’t just represent the team — it carries the faces and stories of the people who stand behind it. When our players take the field, they carry the pride of an entire nation, quite literally, on their backs.”

Mr. Ashley De Silva, Chief Executive Officer of Sri Lanka Cricket, said: “We wish to congratulate Moose on the creation of the new jersey, and I am confident it will help carry the Sri Lankan brand to the world during the upcoming World Cup, while also enabling our fans to connect more closely with the team, the players, and the game.”
