Fourteen Sri Lankan cricketers are set to feature in the upcoming Abu Dhabi T10 League 2025/26, following the player draft held on Saturday (October 18). All eight participating franchises finalized their squads, assembling a mix of international stars and exciting local talents for the ninth edition of the tournament.
The franchises taking part this season — Vista Riders, Deccan Gladiators, Aspin Stallions, Royal Champs, Delhi Bulls, Ajman Titans, Northern Warriors, and Quetta Qavalry — filled up to 19 squad slots each during the draft process.
Prior to the draft, several Sri Lankan players had already secured direct signings with franchises. Angelo Mathews, Avishka Fernando, Binura Fernando, Thisara Perera, Niroshan Dickwella, and Bhanuka Rajapaksa joined their respective teams as marquee signings.
During the draft, Dilshan Madushanka, Dinesh Chandimal, Asitha Fernando, Isuru Udana, Vishen Halambage, Lahiru Kumara, Prabath Jayasuriya and Angelo Perera were picked by various teams, further highlighting the strong Sri Lankan presence in this year’s tournament.
The ninth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League will be played from 18th to 30th November 2025 in Abu Dhabi, promising fast-paced action and fireworks as the world’s shortest professional cricket format returns to entertain fans.
