Manchester Originals have picked Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga as one of their overseas picks for The Hundred 2022.
Hasaranga has been picked by the franchise at The Hundred draft for £100,000. Apart from Hasaranga, West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell and Australian pace bowler Sean Abbott have been drafted by Manchester Originals as their overseas picks for The Hundred 2022.
22 Sri Lankan players out of 284 overseas players had registered for the Hundred draft held today. The second edition of ‘The Hundred’ competition will be played from 03rd August to 03rd September in England.
