Mahanama College Colombo declared their first innings at 301 for 4 in their U19 Division 1 Group C tournament match against Dharmapala College Pannipitiya which commenced today 29th at Surrey Village.

Pawan Devinda of Mahanama Colombo slammed the second double ton in the ongoing Under 19 inter-school cricket with a career best unbeaten knock of 200 against Dharmapala on day one in the match played at the Surrey Village ground in Maggona.

Pawan’s unbeaten which came in just 186 balls comprised 26 boundaries and eight sixes which saw Mahanama taking first lease of the wicket post a formidable score of 301 for 4 declared. Dharmapala in their turn ended the day on 63 for 4 in the first day stump. In the second day palians raisin up with  Prashan Rathnasekara superb knock of  unbeaten 198 in the 288 balls. Prashan superb inning consist with three massive sixes over the loop & 28 beautiful boundaries. Prashan put the recordable 97 partnership with last wicket soldier kushan Jayalath and bring them to first inning win over the mahanamiens.
