Sri Lankan opening batter Lasith Croospulle has been signed by Durdanto Dhaka franchise for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League 2024.
25-year old Croospulle has played 45 T20s, amassing 916 runs at a strike rate of 128.29. He was in tremendous form in the Lanka Premier League last year where he ended up as the 6th highest run-getter with 232 runs in 8 games, with a strike rate of 139.75.
Though Croospulle has been signed up for the tournament, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is yet to issue the No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Bangladesh Premier League 2024 will be played from 19th January to 1st March with the participation of 7 franchise teams – Fortune Barishal, Chattogram Challengers, Comilla Victorians, Durdanto Dhaka, Rangpur Riders, Sylhet Strikers and Khulna Tigers.
