The 2014 edition of the International Tennis Federation 14 and under Division II Championships is set to take place from the 7th to 16th January in Thailand.
This prestigious tournament attracts the likes of the best South East Asian junior tennis players from countries such as Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Pakistan, India and Thailand. The Championship will comprise two tournaments, featuring the Boys Singles and Doubles events and the Girls Singles and Doubles events.
The Sri Lanka Tennis Association has selected a team comprising three boys and three girls to represent Sri Lanka in this tournament. The team will be led and coached by a member of the Davis Cup pool and a former Nationals Doubles Champion Sankha Atukorale.
