The Indonesia Women’s Baseball Team edged out the Indian ladies with a slender margin of 5–4 in the final of the IV BFA Women’s Baseball Asian Cup Qualifiers Tournament held in Bangkok, Thailand. In the bronze medal match, the spirited Pakistan ladies posted a comprehensive 5–1 win against the hosts, Thailand.
The top four teams—Indonesia, India, Pakistan, and Thailand—were selected for the IV BFA Women’s Baseball Asian Cup 2025.
Although the Sri Lankan ladies displayed some magnificent performances by winning three international matches (against Malaysia, Iran, and Cambodia), they were unfortunate not to be selected. Nevertheless, this was a landmark tournament for Sri Lanka Baseball, as it marked the maiden women’s international victory in its history.
