Sri Lanka Cricket’s governance process came under focus as the International Cricket Council (ICC) Board reviewed its progress during the Annual Meetings in Edinburgh.
The ICC Board noted the progress made towards introducing a revised Constitution for Sri Lanka Cricket, describing it as an important step in the ongoing governance process.

The Board also reiterated the need for Sri Lanka Cricket to conduct its elections as soon as possible, emphasizing the importance of completing the governance transition without further delay.

Meanwhile, the ICC confirmed that Sri Lanka Cricket will continue to be unable to be represented at ICC Board meetings for the time being until the governance process is completed.
