The annual Hong Kong Age Group Diving Championship is organized by the Hong Kong China Swimming Association, the governing body of aquatic sports in Hong Kong. This is the first time a Sri Lankan diving team will compete in this competition. It will be a great experience for the youngsters, allowing them to showcase their skills and compete with similar-aged divers from multiple countries. Also, participation in this championship will be a start-up for Sri Lanka diving in exploring the competition outside of Sri Lanka and it will be a fair exposure for the upcoming Asia Age Group Diving Championships 2023 scheduled in December in the Philippines.
