In an exciting development for cricket fans, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced the launch of the SLC T20 League 2025, a dynamic three-team T20 competition set to light up the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) Grounds in Colombo.
The tournament, scheduled to commence on August 7, will feature Team Blues, Team Greens, and Team Greys battling it out in a compact yet competitive format.

All three teams will compete in a round-robin stage, with each team playing four matches. The top two teams at the end of the round-robin phase will advance to the final, set to take place on August 16 at the iconic SSC Grounds.
With the postponement of the Lanka Premier League, which has become a cornerstone of the country’s T20 calendar, SLC has acted swiftly to fill the gap in the domestic cricket schedule.
