Alex Hales makes a return to England’s international setup after last representing the side in March 2019.
He comes in as a replacement for Jonathan Bairstow who was ruled out with a left ankle injury sustained last week which ended his chances of playing in the tournament. The explosive opener has also been added to the squad that will tour Pakistan for a seven-match series before the T20 World Cup.
