A match bags of six for each by Wenuka Galahitiyawa and Ruchira Pupulewatte ensured a smooth sail for hosts Dharmaraja College as they cruised to a comfortable innings and 38 runs in their U-19 inter-school cricket match concluded at Lake View, Kandy today.

In reply to Dharmaraja’s imposing first inning total of 248, visitors managed 79 and 131 in their respective innings, a disappointing performance with the bat.

Revatha resumed on 79 for nine but perished without adding anything to the overnight score, trailing by 169. Following on, Revatha continued their miserable form with the bat and were bowled out for 131 with Dhanush Lakmal hitting a top score of 37.  Galahitiyawa who was the pick of the bowler on the first innings with four for nine runs took two for 50 in the second innings while Pupulewatte added for four for 22 in the second innings for his two for 12 in the first innings. Dineth Lanka also finished with a match bag of five for 50 runs
