David Campese to conduct ‘Coach the Coaches’ program On his travels to Sri Lanka

Australian Rugby Union Legend and 1991 World Cup winner, David Campese is set to graze the shores of Sri Lanka today as he intends to provide his inputs for the Zahira College Centenary program. 

On his travels to Sri Lanka, the Legend is set to conduct a ‘Coach the Coaches’ program, organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association (SLSRFA). 

This program is set to be held on the 31st of January 2024 from 8 am to 12 noon at the CR & FC Grounds.  

SLSRFA has invited majority of the coaches from all the schools set to take part in the Schools’ Rugby season, with the hope of inculcating valuable knowledge in the coaches who are set to take charge of their respective schools. 

The program will not only be theoretical, but also consist of many practical aspects of the game. 

David Campese is set to arrive in Sri Lanka today (28th of January) at 22:30 hrs. He will be having a College tour of Zahira College, assisting their 1st XV team and set to host a press conference, portraying the plan for the Zahira College Centenary 7’s tournament.  

The former Australian star is also set to watch the Club Rugby games set to be played next weekend.
