Former Manchester United and Real Madrid star David Beckham will be arriving in Sri Lanka next month.
David Beckham will be arriving in Sri Lanka as part of his global football promotion campaign as a football Ambassador.
Sources close to ThePapare.com revealed that he will be having four football camps in Colombo, Galle, Kandy and Jaffna.
“Really excited to be coming to Sri Lanka, I know it is a cricket crazy country but I’ve heard football is popular too,” the 40 year old told the media.
“Football is a global sport and as in any country Sri Lanka has some good footballers in Zarwan and Rifnaz. So I’m excited to share my knowledge and experience with as many of the talented ones,” he added.
Sri Lanka would surely be buzzing before and during the Beckham tour.
