The 19th Battle of the Golds played between D.S. Senanayake College and Mahanama College ended in a draw today (11th May) at SSC Grounds, Colombo.
Mahanama College resumed their second innings on Day 3 at 93/0 and went onto post 271 runs for 7 wickets before declaring their innings.

The opening batters Dulnith Sigera, Sineth Weerarathne and national capped Chamika Heenatigala chipped in with useful half-centuries.
Shanel Binushka, Dilash Kumaranayake and Chithun Baddage bagged 2 wickets each for D.S. Senanayake College.
Chasing a target of 258 runs to win, D.S. Senanayake College struggled with the bat in the second innings, but managed to save the game from the jaws of defeat.
