Cristiano Ronaldo has no intention of returning to Manchester United and will see out the rest of his career at Real Madrid, claims his agent Jorge Mendes.

Ronaldo, 29, has already scored 15 goals this season, including a record-equalling 22nd La Liga hat-trick.

Reports have linked former club Manchester United with an £80m move for the Portugal international.

Mendes said: “Cristiano is very happy at Real Madrid. He is going to break all the records and will retire there.”

He told Spanish radio station Cadena COPE:  “You will never find another player like him.

“He is getting better and will keep getting better until the age of 40.
