Team Galle delivered a commanding performance to clinch the U19 Girls Sri Lanka Youth League 2025 title, defeating Team Colombo by a massive 90 runs in the final at NCC Grounds, Colombo, on Tuesday (29th July).
Winning the toss, Team Galle opted to bat first on a pitch that promised runs but demanded precision. They posted a formidable 143 for 3 in their allotted 20 overs, driven by a stellar unbeaten knock of 77 runs off 65 balls from wicket-keeper batter Nethagi Isuranjali.
Her innings, studded with 9 fours and 2 sixes, was a masterclass in controlled aggression, anchoring the innings while keeping the scoreboard ticking.
