Centurions Isuru and Heshan star for Royal

Royal College batted through the second day to score a mammoth 357 runs to win the 1st innings against Ananda at Ananda Mawatha today. 

Isuru Gunathilake was the top scorer for the Royalist’s as he slammed 154 runs in 235 ball. His feat included 20 hits to the boundary and 2 sixes. Senior batsman Heshan Kumarasiri also notched up an unbeaten ton scoring 110* in 151 balls hitting 14 fours. 

Sampath de Silva who was unbeaten after day one slammed a quick fire 36 runs in 54 ball which included 4 massive sixes. 

For Ananda P. Athulathmudali and Isuru Gunathilake captured 4 wickets each for 98 and 122 runs respectively.
