The Bradby Fiesta 2018

The Bradby Fiesta which will coincide with the first leg of the prestigious Bradby Shield encounter between Royal and Trinity will be held for the fifth consecutive year at the Bloomfield grounds, Reid Avenue on 21st of April 2018 from 9.30 a.m. onwards.

Organized by the Royal College Union, the fiesta will provide a carnival atmosphere with Hawker street food stalls and various other activities that will entertain the crowd and also encourage each other to celebrate the camaraderie between the two schools.

The organizers have taken special care and effort to ensure that the kids have their own good time. A ‘kids zone’ comprising games that will challenge the youngsters both physically and mentally will be featured at the ‘fiesta’.

A special Tag Rugby Carnival with the participation of more than 12 school teams from the U10 category will also be worked off with the objective of promoting and infusing the need amongst the players of tomorrow to take up the game of Rugby.

Last year, former Wallaby scrum-half George Gregan graced the occasion. This year around the organizers have other special plans that will remain a ‘surprise’ to the crowd.

The supporters of Royal and Trinity who are unable to enter the Royal Sports Complex can gather around the giant LED screen to witness the match and enjoy to the live music by Black & Slipping chairs with Natasha. The fiesta will continue after the match with a special DJ Mira who will take centre stage and keep the crowd rumbling till midnight.

Fiesta is open for all.  Entrance will be Rs 300/- for adults and Rs 100/- for kids.
