Securing 3 gold medals and 4 silver medals, Bishop’s College was awarded the Overall Women’s trophy at the 36th Sri Lanka Junior National Rowing Championships 2021 which concluded at the DRC last week.
Despite the limited training and exposure this year for all participants, Bishop’s College, Captained by Yanina Botejue, did well to get the better of their opponents Ladies College, Musaeus College, AIS, Gateway College and the Colombo Rowing Club, in the women’s category.

Double Scull – Silver medal – Jessica Peiris & Bevanka Aluwihare

Pair – Gold medal – Shavindi Wickramasinghe & Anouk Wikramanayake
Double Scull – Silver medal – Yanina Botejue & Lehana Aluwihare
