The national Judo Championships was held from the 29th December to 30th December 2014 at Judojo Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The championship included the following events of senior category for both men and women, Team championships for both men and women and an event for junior boys and girls as well.
Airmen conquered the men`s overall championship with sixty marks while the sailors and the soldiers were placed first and second runners-up in the category scoring forty two and ten marks respectively.
The women’s championships were also owned by the three forces with a different order. Sailors topped the list with thirty five marks while Air Force SC and Sri Lanka Police listed second and third respectively.
It was a breath taking performance by the sportsman of all the three forces and Sri Lanka Police as they conquered almost all the team and the individual championships and diminished the hopes of the sports clubs.
