Over 350 shuttlers will be in action at the Ceylon Masters International Badminton Championship 2025, which is set to take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka from June 6th to 9th at two prominent locations.
The flagship international competition hosted annually by Ceylon Masters Badminton, has attracted players of the age category of 35 and above from many badminton-playing countries.

The prestigious Ceylon Masters International Badminton Championships 2025 is set to take place at
The St. Joseph’s College Badminton Courts in Colombo with a substantial prize pool of USD 10,000 up for grabs, with the matches scheduled to begin at 9:00am daily.
Conducted in accordance to Badminton World Federation (BWF) regulations, the Ceylon Masters International will unfold with the preliminary rounds on June 6th and 7th, followed by the quarter-finals and semi-finals on June 8th, culminating with the finals on June 9th. The championship offers competitions for diverse age categories, spanning from Over-35 to Over-75 in Men’s and Women’s Singles as well as Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Doubles. Combined age categories for 100+, 110+, 120+, 130+ and 140+ across Men’s and Women’s Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

With shuttlers from leading badminton-playing countries, including Sri Lanka, in contention, the Ceylon Masters International Badminton Championship has become a crowd-puller as the competition features former international badminton stars in action in Colombo. In addition to the competitive background, the competition also provides the opportunity to give international participants a glimpse of Sri Lanka’s beauty as a tourist destination.
