Continuing from 5/0 overnight, Aloysius went on to post a commanding 283 for the loss of just 4 wickets. Ashen Bandara top scored with 67 as Gimhana Ashirwada (65), Navindu Nirmal (59*) and Niluksha Dulmina (53) all crossed the half century mark.
With a lead of 120 St. Aloysius bowler Hareen Weerasinghe stepped up to the task as he bowled a scintillating spell to pick up 6/21 and dismiss Moratu Vidyalaya for a mere 80 runs in their second innings, handing St. Aloysius an innings and 40 run win.

Ushan Nimantha was the chief destroyer, bagging 5/43 for Dharmashoka while Kavindu Nadeeshan provided vital support with 3/28 as they dismissed Gurukula for just 135.
Requiring 30 runs for an outright win, Kaveesh Kumara (21) stepped up to the task as he managed majority of the runs to end the game.
