“Super 7’s” the inaugural seven a side football tournament organized by Haji 7’s Football Club, in Qatar, is scheduled to be held on 30th March 2018 at Gems American Academy in Al Wakra, State of Qatar from 7.00 am onwards.
A total of 21 teams comprising of players from Sri Lankan schools OBA’s and communities in Qatar are taking part in the tournament and is anticipated to be one of the competitive football tournaments in the recent past. The objective of this event is to foster fellowship among the Sri Lankan community in Qatar and the proceedings from this event will be directed towards a worthy cause being a Drinking Water project in the East of Sri Lanka. The tournament official draw and press briefing was held on 23rd March 2018 at Stafford Sri Lankan School Doha, with the presence of event organizers, sponsors, team captains and managers.
The event is organized by Haji 7’s Football Club, a formidable football club which is actively taking part in many Sri Lankan community sporting events in Qatar.
