Trinity College locked horns with D.S. Senanayake College in a tournament fixture at Asgiriya International Stadium today (1st April).

Winning the favour of the toss, Trinity College posted 262 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 50 overs. Senior hand, Ranuda Somarathne was the chief of the match as he wrote 40 runs against his name. 

Amitha Dabare and Pasindu Denipitiya were the picks of the bowling for D.S as they picked up 2  wickets each. 

Trinity skipper bagged 3 wickets to lead their bowling attack which wrapped the visiting D.S. Senanayake College for 217 runs. 

With this win trinity now has secured 3 wins in 4 games in the tournament sitting second in the group behind Royal College.
