The big guns to lock rudders at the Novices Regatta

The Colombo Rowing Club Opening regatta will take place on the 3^rd and 4^th of June. The events focus on Novices rowers who will take part in various categories from both classes.

Renown rowing institutions such as Royal College, S. Thomas’ College, Ananda College, the University of Colombo, St. Joseph’s College, Ladies’ College, Bishop’s College, Musaeus College and Gateway College will be locking horns for glory at the Colombo rowing club premises.

The Event breakdown will be as follows:

U14 Men’s and Women’s Sculls
U14 Women’s fours
Junior Women’s Sculls
Junior Women’s Fours
Open Men’s Fours

Trophy Events:

Secretaries Bowl – Novice Pair Event
Gordon Armstrong – Novice Scull Event
Vanlangernberg – Novice Pair Event
H.M.S Enterprise – Mixed Fours Event

The Regatta will commence on the 3^rd morning at 6 a.m. and the events will conclude on the following day at 5 p.m. Noteworthy, all finals will take place from the 2 p.m. to the 5 p.m. on the 4^th of June.

On the 4th, events will take place from 6.30am to 10am, and Finals for all events will be conducted from 2pm -5pm on the same day.
