The Sri Lankans participating at the ITF Junior Circuit 2016 have had no luck in proceeding into the semi-finals and finals of the tournament.
In the boy’s singles, Althaf Dhaifullah from Indonesia will face Shan-Yuan Ou from the Chinese Taipei in the finals. Rik Muller and Muzammil Murtaza from Netherlands and Pakistan respectively took honours in the finals of the boy’s doubles.
In the women’s categories, Muskan Gupta from India will face Chao-Yi Wang from the Chinese Taipei in the finals of the girl’s singles. A Chinese Taipei duo won the girl’s doubles beating Priska Medelyn Nugroho from Indonesia and Chinese Taipei respectively after a tough match.
The ITF Junior Circuit will continue at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association or more commonly known as the SLTA until the 11th of September 2016.
