The Inter school cricket matches were called off today due to heavy rain with only one match being played.
Moratuwa Vidyalaya took on Asoka Vidyalaya today and they managed to bowl only 7.3 over’s during the course of the day and Asoka were on 18 runs for the loss of one wicket.
Prince of Wales was scheduled to take on Wesley College while Mahanama College was listed to take on Gurukula in their respective inter school fixtures. Another match which was called off due to heavy rain was the game between Maliyadeve Kurunagala and Isipathana which was scheduled to commence today.
The game between Nalanda and D. S Senanayake which was also scheduled to be played today has been postponed to February; however an exact date has still not been finalized.
